Yesterday’s Ferruginous Hawk And An Unexpected Pirouette
On a recent post I said that I seldom stop to photograph buteos on utility poles but yesterday morning I made an exception for a young Ferruginous Hawk. A dramatic, spinning takeoff made me glad I did. (5 images)
