I don’t post portraits very often but sometimes I can’t resist.

A first for me. (5 photos)

I believe the adult is the male parent.

If I’ve ever been able to peer into the soul of a bird in one of my photos, this is that photo.

Typically I don’t do portraits but in this case it seemed like a pretty darn good option.

Some up close and personal looks at a very handsome bird.

Sometimes reality is in the eye of the beholder.

Being this close to a wild owl inspired in me a feeling of deep and solemn respect.
