An Unfortunate Turn Of Events For Feathered Photography

A day I hoped wouldn’t come.

In years past I didn’t always take advantage of photo ops with American White Pelicans. (5 photos and a link to another one)

Something a little different from me today, just because I like it.

I don’t know a definitive answer to that question but I think I have a pretty good guess. (4 photos)

It’s kind of a long and convoluted story but it deserves to be told. (3 photos)

I heard back from HWI already. (2 photos, 2 maps)

Including some mystery “blobs”.

Loggerhead Shrikes used to be abundant on the island and man were they ever fun to photograph.

Especially Peregrine Falcons and Prairie Falcons but other falcons too.

Five of them. At least.
