I love Chukars, in part because they make hunters pay in blood, sweat and tears (literally) for every bird they get. If there’s such a thing as a hunt that is strictly “fair chase”, it’s Chukar hunting. It may be the only hunt that still is.
Two days ago I photographed a coyote biting off and eating a duck’s head and leaving the rest of the carcass behind. Yesterday morning I photographed a different coyote doing the same thing, twice. I have to wonder why they’re doing it. (16 photos)
Nothing serious today. Just a little fun, except for another observation about heat waves/temperature disparity affecting image quality and sharpness. That part is serious, at least for me. (3 photos)
