Once in a great while I’m tempted to post a photo that kinda grabs me for some unexplainable reason but that I feel pretty confident won’t have much appeal for my readers. Nearly always I’m able to resist that temptation, but not today.
I don’t post as many sparrows as I should, especially the common ones. To make matters worse, yesterday was World Sparrow Day and I made no mention of it. Today’s post is my attempt at redemption. (4 photos)
Nine days ago I spent some time photographing some of our most abundant (for those readers who don’t like the word “common” applied to birds) songbirds at my favorite greasewood bush.
